If you're visiting Conil and want to experience something new with ceramics , sign up for our ceramic classes/courses. You'll be able to make your own piece to take home.
Three types of course proposals , choose one:
-Creation of a piece using the churros technique and decoration with slips. The churros technique dates back to the beginning of ceramic art. In this course, you'll learn how to make a ceramic object using only clay and your hands, then decorate it with slips. Once dry, the piece will be fired in the kiln and ready to be taken away or shipped to your home.
- Dry rope technique . In this course, you'll learn to paint using the dry rope technique, a technique used by the Arabs in Al-Andalus. This course includes a 32 cm ceramic plate, glazes, and oil, on which you can develop the technique as it is. Once painted, it will be fired and ready for pickup or home delivery.
- Bas-relief technique . In this course, you'll learn how to create an object using relief. You'll take home a baked slip-decorated leaf, ready to take home or send to your home.
